Afternooner all,
NW Houston 86*F Fair. Still 50-50 heavy rain. First time I have seen a child abduction alert along with the weather warnings.
5erBob, your name sakes were out yesterday sunning, as they are today. discussion is not about the brands, that is personal taste. It is the FREE that makes it taste better.
Wife back from the Orthopod DR. Not sure why she is stll having problems. Going back in a month, if knee still bad, possible cortisone injection.
ChrisR good to see you back.
Cincy, got any pix or stories about the bike ride? That was a long ride.
TOP must still be checking his eyelids for light leaks.
JB any pix to post of your jeep trip?

Have a good un and be safe out there

Afternoon brew has been started.
Fun weekend with no power. Big wind Saturday snapped a couple poles nearby, but knocked most of the county out. Big wall of wind, thought for sure there was a tornado comeing, even sounded like a freight train. Got the lawn tractor running finally, then beat on it til something else broke. Getting the dungeon ready for a couple visitors this week.

Didn't do a heck of a lot today. Took the trany out of the lawn mower to see if I could see what was wrong with it. Can't see any thing but never took one apart so don't really know. Gears are all right, nun broken. Shifter seems a little stiff, but might be normal if you don't have the leverage with the stick on the linkage. Lots of info on them, Foote transmisions, just have to sift through it.

Always, I just hate that when you end up with extra bolts, washers or whatever leftover. Everything works but extra parts. Why did they put them in there is the first place????

FO you have more than one jar on the go? I envy you, if I had a half a jar I couldn't keep up. What kind of laminate? Glue/Snap. Pics are in order.

Davey that iced Starblucks is on the border of the Foo Foo menu. Be careful, don't want you slipping into the dark side.Hahaha

Well it's past my bed time so better say good night. I'll be sleeping in tomorrow so try and be quiet. No drums or trash can lids. Something from Robin Mark would be ok though as wakeup music. Later

thanks for the reminder, I keep forgetting to take before pictures.

Evening everyone, back to the grind today. It was another relaxed monday, spent most of the day waiting for the transportation dept to move some stuff for us so we can get our loco out of the building we were repairing it in. They still didn't get the stuff moved on 1st shift, hopefully it'll be moved by AM. Did a few minor things to the loco today to prep it for service. Washed the truck when I got home and then went for a new regulator for our grill. The darn **** that screws into the tank broke. The store didn't sell just the know only a new regulator assembly, oh well, now I have an extra. The GF went to a party last night her friends had for the Sox/Cubs game, she was a little hung over this morning from drinking the Italian Lemonade, she's better now. Gonna go BBQ some chicken for dinner, I'll be back later.

more beeeeeerrrrrrr.

Had a couple high lifes tonight while cooking and eating dinner. We had BBQ chicken, garlic and parsley potatoes, and sauteed spinach. It was very good. The BBQ sauce is my own recipe. Time to relax a bit before bed.
