I think a saw a post here about the new warranty on new truck about changing anything voids it.

 

Making changes does not void the warranty, the dealer may tell you that , but it is not the case.

IF you add aftermarket accessories , and the dealer can prove that your Gadget caused a failure, the Warranty on whatever failed is then void.

For example, add some injectors , and melt a piston, no warranty.

Add a boost gauge, and your transmission fails , warranty.
