WD-40

Uses for WD-40
When I had my GM 6.2L. I used it for starting fluid to start the engine everytime I would not get the fuel tanks switched over in time and got air in the fuel line. I built a setup and plumbed it into the intake. Push a button and crank it over, It would always happen when I was on the freeway or raining. Never had to get out of the truck. I had 350,000 miles on the truck before I lost it to a drunk.
Jim.

I have been told that if you accidently write on a white board with a permanent marker you can remove the marker by spraying and wiping the area with Off Insect Repellent. Unfortunately the Off will dry out the board so after cleaning you should wipe the board down with WD-40 and the board will be as good as new. I haven't tried it yet but plan to soon.
The best way to get off the permanent marker is to heavily write over it with the erasable marker ... then wipe it off. I have also heard that cigarette ashes will work too.

I have used toothpaste to clean them, It also works on plexiglass and lexan.
Smells good afterwards too. Jim.

at the motocross races, I spray wd-40 on plastic and underneath my fenders, the mud wont stick and helps keep the bike cleaner. On any given mud race you can acquire up to 80 pounds of mud on a 220 pound bike. Not fun.

WD40 works well, but can cause chemical burns to the perninium ( that hairless are under the tail). Can be quite uncomfortable to a mare...... Also you will occcasionally have a horse that can have an allergic reaction to the proppelants used in many spray cans.

Try using straight Ivory dish soap, put it on and let it set for a few minutes. You can ussually brush right through the snags.

When it was nap time, all you had to do was spray a little WD-40 by the bottom of the dorr in the barracks. When thhe fisrt sargent came around to chack rooms, he'd think you were in there cleanign guns and leave you alone. He was also concerned about it reacting with his spit shine and causing the boots to haze up.......

Don't know about that...but I DO know that if you write on a dry erase board with a permanent marker you can go BACK over that same writing with a dry erase marker and then, with a little pressure on the eraser, BOTH will come off. I've tried it. It works.
