The thumpertalk and dodgeintrepid forums don't seem to have as much experience on them as they used to. A lot of kids just chattering but there is still the search option and there are some folks that know their stuff on there.

Rv.net . I don't spend a lot of time on there, but there's a lot of information and decent, helpful people.

They like to flame a lot, but the chitchat and other areas at pirate4x4 are fun to read.

psychobike.net is decent for the crotch rocket type but its mainly full of turbo busa and turbo zx14 guys.

R1-forum.com has some of the best tech write ups I could find ANYWHERE. Complete motor teardown with steps and pictures, steps and pictures of free mods and other stuff. People willing to help out. I feel alot better about my winter project (racing tranny rebuild and turbo) after spending countless hours on r1-forum.com. Turbo 02-03 R1's are almost non- existent because of the short production time of that setup but I'm jumping in feet first this winter and we will see what comes out in the spring.

gun-forums.com is my second favorite. I hear there is a pretty good droid forum too at droid-forum.com.

I guess I am one of those mind numbed robots everyone is talking about...

Guys as you reply here I ask that you do it in the spirit intended by the original poster and please do not turn it into a "bashing other forums" thread.
Great example of why this forum is my favorite. Thanks

I don't think anyone mentioned Ramcharger Central. I don't know how the crowd is on there, but they have a lot of nice tech articles.

I just found a "stupid posts" section on RCC. It's like reading the "You Failed" section on DTR! LOL
