Wink good day to ya, Jbark!

CIN, don't mind T rad.....he's just getting back to cycle thinking again.
roll man roll
and yes! stay just the way you are. shakin my head at the liberal tv shows.
some stuff i don't need to know or care about....like it really matters.

looked at building plans for the one room school house, get my pick from 300 across the US. none from Nevada on the site, oh well.
easy enough frame, trick is to match the slight details in clapboard and window sashes, header trim. gotta find a bell too, my gift.

finish up painting the truck, then on to two parts of my little mercedes- tough paint on it for a 23 year old. got a new intake/exhaust gasket, debating whether I want to risk a broken stud bolt in replacing it now.
getting lazy I guess....

hope all have a great day! lots to pick from in here

Heidi sipping coffee and slowly getting ready to work

Mornin' all!

Couple of Weinhard's Private reserve last night.

More white fluffy stuff on the ground when I woke up. Guess it's gonna stay for the duration. Been a flurry of activity here at work this AM but it's all done now so I can coast for the rest of the day.

Oh yeah and today is my friday

Spent the afternoon watching plumbers work. Whew ... it's hard to keep your eyes open that long, especially after the buffet I just liberated 30 minutes earlier .

Y'all be good and try to keep it to a dull roar, would ya.

Davey ... tell the prudent student I said congrats.

Cheers,

I envy you, wish we had some snow in the forecast soon. Normally don't get a good snow fall till about mid november or december. Have good friday and weekend!

JWBM, I love the feeling of seeing a loco roll out of the shop in fresh paint and overhauled. It's really cool seening something you built run for the first time and seeing it out on the lines hauling freight. It's hard to believe the size of the engines in them, its really hard to believe how much gets destroyed when an engine goes south. Had one drop a valve last week, and it tore alot of stuff up inside. The dropped valve put a hole about as big around as a beer can in the piston and stuck the valve into the head. It bent a few rods and cracked a head. Doing this allowed all the water to go from the cooling system into the cranks case. I didn't get to work on this engine, kinda wanted to though. Boss put the new guys on it instead to give them some training.

Diesel Storm, Truck looks very good with the new brush guard!

Good late afternooner, got line up on safety stuff today. We had an outside company come in and do inspection on our chains and slings so I got to be a part of that. Not a bad day really. Making a pot roast tonight for dinner. GF is really likin' the new job. Tomorrow is my friday this week, got a job interview on friday, dunno how long it'll last for so I am taking the whole day off. Gotta go get the dinner started. Theres some coffee, tea, sweet tea, and ph00 already. Theres even some beer too.

Thanks. Another week off and this time I don't have much that HAS to be done. A few circut breakers and perhaps a garage door seal. Oh, and Mama want's to go shootin'.
