Lawn moss killer, now or spring?

I have a lot of moss for this time of year.
I usually give the lawn a dose of moss killer every spring
but I'm thinking of doing it now since I have more than usual for fall time.
Any reason not do do it this time of year?

I would hit it now. I've used this stuff in an old house we had, lots of tall trees in the back yard, moss everywhere.

Worked great for me any time of the year, and seems to really totally kill it all.

If some returns in the spring, apply it again.

You may want to try BLEACH, it also works.

Iron Pellets work to get rid of mossy yards. Apply twice per year.

I have a lot of moss too but the grass is totally gone where the moss is. Will grass grow back once the moss is gone or will I have to til it up and plant some seed?
