Use one of those bark collers, it give him a little shock, they stop pretty quick, you and your neighbours will be happy.

Bark Collar! Wallymart has a basic one for about $30 bucks, works great!

I have had dogs for years and never had a disipline problem. I never used a bark collar, perimeter fences, or a leash. The dog needs to know who is the boss(and it is not the dog). I am allways the boss when it comes to the dog. My dogs get trained with voice and hand commands, so I never have to speak if I do not want to. I bought a vacation home in Az. and brought our dog. I checked with the neighbors if the dog behaved or barked while we were gone. They said he never made a peep. This was the dogs first day there.

I think I will try to work on training him and see if I can get him to learn. I have found so far that hes an incredibly smart dog (can open doors with lever style door *****, open fence gates that aren't latched, etc) he definitely doesn't like being out of my sight...

Found out today that he gets quite irritable if he is tied to the tree, but if told to stay by the tree, he will stay without being tied and not throw a fit...

I have a yellow lab that has seperation anxiety really bad. It drives my wife nuts because she will pace back and forth between the outside doors and whine the whole time I'm outside without her. I think it is my fault though. When she was a puppy, I took her everywhere with me. One of these days, I will get her trained not to be that way. I hope.
