Angry Kids toys with a surprise

I just stumbled across this:

http://consumerist.com/consumer/some...ghb-319277.php

I think that if you are a parent you should know this. What annoys me is that there may be a lot more toys that contain chemicals that can lead to severe consequences for kids..

That's why I only let my kids play with dirt...

True, it's sad what is happening to kids toys.

I couldnt agree more with you about protecting our kids. And I would never let mine play with something harmful intentionally. But it makes me wonder how much stuff we played with as kids that was toxic or harmful like say asbestos siding from my G-Ma's house they made great chinese stars. I think alot of the hazards have always been there we are just hearing more about them now.

I'm for protecting my children and it's nice to know about all these chemical and lead based paints that there using. But, we all played with toys that were more then likely made with the same stuff or worse, and turned out just fine. I think its bad when I go to buy a Tonka truck for my nephew and the stupid thing is plastic! Good thing for e-bay!
