It's all about the cars and small trucks of the former Soviet Union and Eastern Bloc countries. From the Trabant, the oil burning National Car of the GDR (East Germany) to the American inspired Soviet government limousines of Zil.

Kind of interesting to imagine what it was like to have such limited (in technology) choice in automobiles.

 

Thanks for the link. It does bring back a lot of memories, having ridden in many of those wether 4 or 2 wheeled. You just can not imagine what modifications and to what uses some of those vehicles have been put thorugh, all born out of necesity and some amazing ingenuity.
