Mark, how about some sort of engraved crest with crossed M16s with 1911s set into where the M16s cross and .50cal rounds for a border? Keith

Keith, believe me, I have thousands of ideas, (yours was not one of them, but a great one), but I'm not looking to break the bank. I have seen some rubber rifles (we use them for MCMAP), but they are not cheap. I've never used a 1911 in the Corps, not old enough. We've only used 9 mil's.

I need to get a block for my NCO sword, I'm trying to decide if I should get one where the sword and scabard cross, or get one that is straight across.

This is what I want to do for a POW MIA table... this is the one we had at my SNCOA mess night...

those tables make me wanna go bomb somebody....there were real prevalent and well displayed out in the Midwest. all VFW's stuff had nice ones.

what did they have on the dog tags?

i know the Army wives gun guy, LMK if you want me to check on plastic guns.

i know he has rubber (?) 50 cals, but he paid $700 each for them off ebay,
i never thought plastic guns would be so $$$

Hey Mark,

Don't know how i missed this thread, That is very cool. I love the POW MIA table. Back in Denver, they set one up at the Elk's lodge. I didn't really understand it at the time, but my grandmother explained things in very certain terms to me.

It is a very humbling experience to watch a vet stand at attention, solute, bow their head and pray for those who have fallen. Sitting quietly in the corner as a young boy and watching was probably one of the most life changing experiences I have had.

Something to be very proud of sir. Thank You for sharing.
