Wow we're gettin' deep in here.(stuffing pants legs in boots). Time is measureable in relation to something that we think is constant. take two atomic clocks set exactly the same, put 1 in a plane and fly at fairly high speed and put the clocks back side by side, the one in the plane will read slower than the one that was stationary. I'm having a hard time figuring most of this out (I haven't read any of the full theories yet), but even I know that.
