I don't know if this picture is old or new, but I got a kick out of it.

Good thing it's a soft top - getting out of that would be a chalange alone, let alone getting the Jeep out. "Uh...Dad, I think I we need a new Jeep..."

I am pretty sure if he gets back in it and just FLOORS IT! it will come right out hehehe

Although I would not try it without scuba equipment....

I had a buddy who lived on a dirt road by the river, there was a large mud hole in the middle of the road that many a person made the mistake of not going around.

My buddy owned several tractors and they would come to his house all hours of the day and night to hire him to pull the vehicles out.

I happened to notice that he also had a large water tank on a trailer......I am not accusing him of anything but I often wondered why that puddle stayed wet, even when it didn't rain for weeks at a time.

I got my land rover buried like that one time. I was out for a little 1/2 hour
cruise and didn't even have any recovery gear with me. It was clay mud and my engine, transmission, and crossmember were sunk. I may as well have been stuck in a million gallon tub of axle grease. It was embarrassing but after 4 hours of trying to get it out I had to call a buddy with a recovery truck.

That reminds me of the time my buddy got stuck in a water hole in a field. He was slamming through and his tread got caked with mud so he couldn't turn very well and ended up hitting a water hole. He made it through a little bit but hit this area and sank like brick, then dug himself in deeper trying to get out. It took 2 or 3 trucks to get him out. Heres a pic

Water Hole

He got stuck in a water hole? That is the biggest dang 'water hole' I've ever seen. I've bogged this Dodge through a lot of crap, but that 'water hole' looks like something I would have decided 'not' to try.

Yeah, that's closer to "pond" than "hole".

Well like I said he didn't intend to go out that deep, he was going too fast and had mud caked in his tread and couldn't steer out of it. Looks like he was actually doing good until he hit that spot where he sank.
