I love that stuff!!!! Da Bomb Hot Sauce on chips is good too.

I use Dave's Insanity Haberero Oil in my Chili. It's some Hot chili. Every now and again I can talk someone into a bolw with me, but for some reason they drink all of my milk and will never touch my chili again; even when I tell them it's a mild batch.

AS for spicy relief try ranch and celery, or yogurt. Always seems to work for my wife, but after 13 years of my cooking I think she is getting used to spice.

you could get real trashed, pass out, wake up in a doy or so and ya just might forget the whole deal ever hapened. the very least you will be out of it for another day and maybe the burn will subside a bit more.

If you really want to get rid of it, you need to eat some more hot stuff just to a lesser degree like maybe a couple of fresh Jalapeno's, that way the oil from the new pepper takes over the old pepper. Then begin the milk based solutions. Another one the helps is Honey! No kiding Honey does work.

The one I like the best is fresh grated Horesradish on the tounge. Burns and cleans the sinuses, and walla it's all good. Ready for more!

My first time to Thailand, I was in a restaurant where they had a small bowl of green jelly sitting on the table. My thought was ...Hmmm, I wonder what mint jelly tastes like on seafood. The look on the Thai waiters face when I scooped a spoonful on my food should've been a clue that it wasn't mint jelly. That was by far the hottest stuff I have ever came across. Intake and exhaust were both scorched for days.

Like the weightlifters say ...Feel the burn, baby !!!

Is that similar to the pepper paste they have in Korea? That stuff is good, I can't remember the name. Come on folks, most Jalapeno's are pretty mild. Habenero's are so/so some mild some a little warm. If you want hot, try Chilli Pateene's, Not sure on spelling. Look kind of like pea's but some are different colors. Put those in a candy dish and surprise your friends.

The best way to prevent it is to apply a liberal coat of Vaseline (mentholated if you prefer) to your tongue before you eat hot and spicy foods.
It will also ease the pain of the exit wounds.

You thinking of Kimchee ??? That stuff can peel paint if it's made right. It is a cabbage dish with some real hot spicy paste. You don't want to know how it is made ... but it is pretty good.

Iker ... you didn't think I meant EATING the ice cream would help did you (The cone is funnel shaped for a reason, young man !!)
