One word of advice, credit union. Oops, that's two words.

 

Boss, I went through something similar when I bought my 91. The loan officer Ok'd it, but then it had to go in front of a "loan board", who wanted inspections, and a actual vehicle appraisal before they would sign off on it.
Took about 6 weeks total, fortunatly I was buying through a dealer, who had expected all teh delays and wasnt upset, even helped on getting some of the things done...( inhindsight, I paid too much for the truck, maybe why he was so helpfull)...
