It was probably there to keep folks from using the bridge as a short cut.

JKM,

Nice pix, thanks for posting them. Is the tractor still stuck, or did you get it out? 19 gears, wow.
I show the gradkiddlett the pictures of the farm so they get a better idea of the amound of hard work involved in farming.

I need to take some pictures from around the farm. Well here is your stupid news of the day, I was hauling hay today with the 24ft gooseneck, our bales are 5' by 5.5' so we got a good 1.5' sticking over both sides. Some idiot passed me on a double yellow with that load on a narrow butt road, speed limit was 35mph and I was already up to about 40mph since I know the road real well. I wasn't allowing them much room beside me either cause I was dodging mail boxes on my right. I guess you can't fix stupid sometimes

Technically I don't think it was stuck it still moved ahead and back , just not far enough ahead or back

Heres a picture of the truck loaded up this afternoon, its time for the M8580 to get a clutch. It has been weak for some time now but the back seal has started leaking so its time to get it fixed. I have three jack straps and one log chain holding her down.

Bring that on up here to my place with some parts and i can replace the clutch in a matter of hours , i used to work on those for my living. w/o a loader , I can r&r a clutch in one of those in 3 hours if there are no snags ( bad cable , etc) about 4-4.5 hours if there is a loader installed.

I don't know where you're at but that looks like some nice rich soil on those tires!

I would have to switch trailers before I did that Wouldn't want to take that tandem one that far, would defanitly take our dual tandem.
