Hey Gulf Coast CTD fellers -

From Houston to Mobile, is there any place(s) that I-10 damaged that is still not repaired? I've got a trip coming through that area and wanted to plan a route around that mess if there is one. Thanks.

Actually I'll be on I-12 from Baton Rouge to Slidell. So let me know about that section. I will not take I-10 where it dips down into New Orleans.

The only thing I had seen when this question was asked on iRV2.com was that I-10 through New Orleans was still closed, but that was a month or so ago. The I-12 bypass on the north side of the lake was open, though.

Rusty - oops, I didn't get my post edited quick enough to state I would use I-12. Thanks. I'm hoping the rest of I-10 is OK.

 

Nope, other than I-10 through NO and the loop around Lake Charles (I-210?), everything else was open and OK.
