If any of you guys are interested in listening to the storm spotters going through this storm, you can go to http://www.voipwx.net/

I just happened to run the voip network that's support this net right now. We currently have over 100 ham repeaters connected to this net providing information directly to the national hurricane center.

This net is running on the same computer as the DTR

It's going away! As it moves across Florida it is weakening. Still windy and causing a mess but tolerable. Over here in Pinellas it's barely a drizzle and a breeze. Murry, you should be about the same I presume. We got lucky once again. My dad and his sweety down in Venice saw some strong winds and rain but came through it ok. Undoing all of our preparations will be a welcome chore knowing what we could have been faced with tonight...Thanks for all the well wishes and concern. We need to ask Him to watch over the folks in Charley's path while it's still dangerous. It sounds like it's leaving more of a mess than damage. Let's hope so...

Whew ... that was one of the better hurricane parties I have been to !!!

Charley took it pretty easy on us down here in Key West. Some high surf down on Duval street and one or two trees knocked down but definately better that we expected.

Last I heard, he was headed up FiverBob's way in Sarasota... anyone hear from him I hope everyone fairs as well as we did.

Man, this was One Bad Storm!

Check the damage at :http://www.orlandosentinel.com/

This is one of those times when you wish you could do smoething to help people. I guess I'll donate a few bucks to the Red Cross.
