How did he manage to fall through the roof like that?

There are precedents to the affect that, if someody falls through a roof that wasn't built to code, the fall-ee gets to sue the owner of the roof.

 

He was in the space just above the suspended ceiling.
Acoustic ceiling tiles can't support the weight of a full beer can, let alone a large man.

More than the acoustic tile fell in the video, though. Some insulation and stuff fell too.

The question is how he managed to get through the roof and onto the ceiling.

Altough judging by how he was trying to get out through the front door, it's probably best left unanswered.
