how to properly level a crapper over ceramic tile

i put down new tile in the bathroom, and it's uneven, due to floor being poured by locals.

anyways, how do I get the potty to set even, without looking bad?

i had a big peice of plastic wedged under it before. looked like crap.

i'm trying to sell the house, only reason doing it.

If the gap is on the side where it's not too visable, shim it up level and

the heck outta it.

All you have to do is get a container of plumbers putty, take a bunch in your hands and roll it into a 3/4" roll about as long as it will take to cover the lower flange (base). then put your crapper down on the floor and put alot of EVEN pressure in it. Then cut the extra off around the base and your done.

I've done this and it works great, Don't shim it use PLUMBERS PUTTY!

All of the above, you are selling it! Use bathroom caulk to finish off the bead where the crapper meets the floor then take your finger and smooth it out. It will look like a million bucks. If it still looks bad buy one of those rugs that fits arouns the stool that yoiu can put your feet on too. It will cover it up.
