I saw something on another site that I thought might be the video. It wasn't. What I saw was someone with a souped up (sort of) Neon and trying to light the front tires up. The engine blew bad enough it bent the hood up.

That's the kind of guy you want to follow around and try to get him to race you, just so you can be there when it blows.
The use of PVC is an interesting concept. I guess you could compare it to a fusible link for boost.

I could see this working even better if he welded the PVC, but the dangers involved with that would really hurt that kid.
