purposes my rig serves

1) daily commuter, 500-600 miles a week. must be reliable and be able to handle the worst weather conditions.

2) unofficial company vehicle for our small trucking company, everything from running errands to hauling or towing thousands of pounds of steel, parts, tools, etc. and going on road calls. every winter it gets put to work pulling rigs out of the snow and ice.

3) weekend warrior, hauling lumber or other stuff that justifies the 8' bed, or even serving as a rifle rest for target practice.

truly a jack of all trades, i can't think of a better truck to do all this stuff with.

Well lets see I have 4 trailers and 5 trucks and 7 different tractors and backhoes. We run a farm and dig 400 graves a year for 26 cemitaries. On top of that we hav 4 rental houses and a car-wash. I need a vacation.

I haul a race car with mine during the summer. Other than that it goes to truck shows. And of course a daily driver.

I bought mine to replace my '93 360 gasser as a daily driver. You go broke quick at 5 mpg in town and about 4 with the trailer. I only drive 2 miles to work, but its all stop and go. Tows my 6x12 ramp-gate trailer and tractor with ease. Also got it to push snow all winter.

I tow a horse trailer nearly every weekend plus I have a 75 mile round trip drive daily to work. And then I enjoy hitting the dragstrip on the weekends with something that isn't supposed to run and does. And it's used on the farm as a truck should be.

90% of its life is spent pulling our 5th wheel RV (see signature). The other 10% is general driving once we arrive at our destination as well as the runs to Lowe's and Home Depot. Maybe that's why it only has 28K miles on it!

Home Sweet Truck

I use mine as "Home Sweet Home"... er, home sweet camper... truck... thing.

I loved my 93'D350 so much that I moved out of my apartment and into it permanently for the near future (5-6yrs). I have a 14' slide-in camper strapped to the back, with all my junk strapped to the top of that or stuffed in various compartments and behind the seat.

I am currently fixin to install a new fuel/heating/lubrication system (over thanksgiving). and am interested in any other modification/upgrades that will result in making my cost-of-living cheap (as in free). so that includes efficiency, reliability, and durability modifications.

so you’ll probably see me lurking around the forum looking for good ideas and asking questions.

cheers!
van

ps. thanks to yall whove already answerd questions for me.
