Question How Boxes Make Their Power?

As I understand it, fueling boxes make power by various means. Pressure increase, Duration of injection pulse, Timing, combination of these. Any others?
Does anyone know which boxes do what? Also, what are the effects of each approach? On reliability? On Performance? Smoke? Mileage? EGTs?
I know this is asking alot of questions, but I believe it could really help guide potential purchasers.
Please focus on what you think are the strong points without knocking any products.

With all due respect.....to the contrary. I surfed many of the posts there and that is exactly why I asked for a definitive comparison. Nowhere did I see a meaningful comparison of results on most of the topics I mentioned. It only makes sense that different approachs are going to yield different results. Just for instance.....which box is going to yield better driveability, or what approach is harshest on the engine? Also, I realize that bumping the pressure up significantly can cause major problems such as injectors or codes, so is it better to go with duration? What about favoring timing if you live at 8600 ft. like I do?
There have to be some of the great minds on here that can and are willing to share their knowlege and experience. I know that because they have helped me in several other areas already, and I sincerely thank them for doing so.

Does Doug's Matrix still exist? That thing had all the info you could want on all the boxes available at the time. I think he's a member of the NorthwestBombers. Try looking up DOUG in the member list and then search his posts. I'm sure his matrix will pop up somewhere. Or do a search on Matrix and see if you find it. He had some really good info. You can always just post which boxes you are interested in and people will tell you how they make the power...

Looks like he quit updating it a long time ago. That's a shame because it helped a lot of us decide which route to take.....

I think the summary is also a wealth of info that alot of us can learn from. Even the limited info on the 600 is terrific, along with the best description I have read to date on my Ramifier.
