Re:Hoss's New Ride
Just my own .02 cents:
I noticed that when I moved to Texas from the north, most of the trucks down here are 2wd but with a lot more goodies (leather, power seats etc.). In Pa. (NW corner at least) most of the trucks were 4wd that were not as heavily optioned out. Up there, first thing you look for is 4x4 and then you check the finances to see if you can afford the goodies. 4WD is not a necessity here, unless you go off road a lot, own a ranch or have a hunting lease that is hard to get around on you really don't need it. I like the the stance of the 4wd better then the 2wd, that is why I bought a 4wd.
Just one person's observations/opinion.

Re:Hoss's New Ride
I wanted 4WD...but didn't need it enough to justify getting it. Besides that...the only way my wife would let me get the truck was if I kept the payment where I had it before (which I ALMOST did).
4WD would have made it too much $$$. [undecided]

Hoss, if you want something to tow to see how she does just hook a chain to that Chevy in the background and take off. ;D

Even though it is a lightweight it would at least give you an idea of the CTD's capabilities.

Man, I am jealous. The rest of you notice he got the clearance lights even though it has no training wheels? Must be a Texas thang........

They get caught on things and can make you trip and with my 4X4 its a long way down. She comes home with them on all the time from the barn. ;D Spurs can be good just not driving!
