Hornets nest
the foaming wasp killer works really good once you spray them the get trapped in the foam and can't get you. But my favorite is still a can of carb cleaner and a lighter nothing is more fun than the flame thrower in a can
So i went to the store and got myself some wasp killer and waited until it got dark, turend off all of the lights and had my wife man the handy dandy flashlight and got all ready to get rid of my little buzzing pests. Any way the next thing that i knew i was getting ready to spray away and my wife says look at that strange cat, well i look over and Its not a cat but a stinking skunk!!! So now I have two porblems.

I TOLD you to get lady bugs. You could have killed two birds with one stone. Now, don't you wish you would have listened? Let that be a lesson to you. Always listen to Hoss.
for wasps, i used to use the hairspray lighter method, but since im slower now, i use soap and water. if its small enough and in a good spot, ill fill a tupperware container with soapy water and walk up real slow and hold it over the nest until they stop squirming. if its in a spot i cant do that, i mix a bucket of soapy water and toss the water at the nest. kills em every time.....
for skunks....soapy water might not do much....id go with a .22

Before attampting any of the above advice...except the ladybugs, make sure you have a tennis racket at hand, that way when they come after you you'll at least be able to dice a few up on your dash back to the house, if you don't trip on the skunk.
Station your wife a safe distance away with the video camera and make sure the batteries are charged and there's room on the tape for the action. And be sure to let me know before you post the video!
I hate those suckers, kill'em all!

Hmmm. Get the mailing address for AFV before you begin... Lets see: A hornet nest, a tennis racquet, some soapy water, and a skunk ...all caught on video? You're gonna' be wealthy after the swelling goes down and the house quits smelling...
. We always used the Raid wasp and hornet killer spray in an aresol can, be warned though, hornets will unite when there nest is messed with so spray some and then haul a**, wait awhile come back and do it again.
Also, not all wasp sprays are created equal. Raid works well and there was another brand that did pretty well...can't think of the name. Avoid the off-brand stuff. You want something that knocks them down when it hits them. The cheapo stuff coats em, let's them come after you, then they die while chasing you.
I did this on a recommendation from a guy who got $20 from his fellow boot camp buddies.
He took a lighter, a fire extinguisher, and a can of WD-40 with the straw. YOu light the end of the straw and spray the nest with the tip of the now flamethrower. They come flying out with their wings burning and looking like little comets.
The extinguisher is in case they catch YOU on fire. WHo cares about the house?

I just use a little propane torch. I have the kind where the torch is on the end of a short hose, so it's very maneuverable compared to one that screws right on to the cylinder.
The wasp nest my BIL had in his car door was summarily remedied with no damage to car, life, or limb. Just some very toast wasps and wasps-to-be (gross white buggers in the cells).

Important: If Spraying Anything But Beer, Take The Wind Direction Into Consideration! A Faceful Of Wasp Killer, Flaming Wd40, Skunk Spray, Etc. Can Be Hilarious To Those Of Us Viewing The Video.
Hook up a vacuum cleaner like shop vac type and put the hose right where they come in and out. Works great when you can not pinpoint there where abouts. Leave it running for a day, any bees coming in will get sucked in and the ones going out as well. The stress from the swirling around in the container will kill them.
