Hit the big 300K.

Well, I don't know if it's big, but it's big for me and more than any other vehicle I've owned. Hit 300K on my move here up to Maryland.

So, what needs to be done at the 300,000 mile service interval?

I do have a few near-future projects planned:

New p-pump, or at least somehow fix the one I have
Fix the sloppy steering
Possibly replace leaky gaskets
Strip out interior and have it deeply cleaned

At 300,000 miles on a Dodge/Cummins.........pull to the side of the road and take a picture to show to your buddys later.

At 300,000 miles on a Ford-Chevy...........pull to the side of the road, remove oil filler cap, install new engine number 3 under oil filler cap, reinstall oil filler cap.

Congrats on the milestone....I'm only 1/3 of the way there.

My 95 is over half way there , 152 367 miles when i parked it a few minutes ago

Dad's 97 is going to turn 300 000 any one of these days now.

I test drove a 94 a couple years ago , with 447 000 on it.

I bought a new Peterbilt in 87 with a Cummins 444, an 5 1/2 years later I pulled over to take a pic of the odometer at 1,000.000 miles, kinda retired it at a million 6 but it still runs. Wanna guess why I like Cummins.

Well when I was in high school I lived about a mile away and I didn't really need to go anywhere else now that I am in college I have to drive 20 miles round trip. Where I will be working soon is right next to my high school Costs more to start it up then it does to drive to work Going to keep the miles low, don't mean to though

Nothing wrong with it, just unknown to me. I had a 70 mile round trip to high school, plus 40 miles one way to my closest friend's house. Now Im living at my college, but driving 100 mile round trip to work 3 times a week+ about 200-300 miles on the weekends for fun. Thats how Ive jumped from 80k to 150k in 3.5 years.

For your 300,000 mile service interval I would recomend a new p pump or rebuild get the steering looked at replace any leaking gaskets and get it cleaned and waxed Seriously congrats on the mile stone
