Weapon Missing<br>A sub machine gun is missing from the Clovis Police Department and officers are concerned about public safety.<br>Officers believe the weapon and a 30 round magazine were taken Thursday. Police won't say how or where it was stolen. It was not taken from a police station.<br><br>Clovis police chief Jim Zulim made a plea for someone to return the weapon, &quot;To the person or persons who took this weapon, we do not believe you knew what you were taking. Should you posses this weapon, please call the Clovis Police Department and arrange to leave the weapon at a safe place where it can be retrieved, no questions asked.&quot;<br><br>Anyone with information about the gun should call Clovis Police at (559) 324-2800. <br><br><br>

One of the officers is probably a collector. I'd run weapons registered to each, and start with the guy with the most.
