So I am looking for a 1.6l vw turbo diesel (complete engine and rad) to swap into my suzuki samurai The wreckers around here want an outragous price for them as there are a few samurai guy's that are doing this swap.
I am heading out to Winnipeg in May and I am wondering if there are any reasonably priced wreckers along the way.
For that matter, what do the people in saskachewan do to sell a vehicle (the buy and sell really doesn't have any listings) as an alternative is to buy the car (vw jetta) and wreck it myself.

Count Scotty out on this thread for a while. I just saw in another thread that he is headed for Mexico to get hitched.

Us folks in the U.S. will be on the lookout for him, though. He could be passing through the states to pick up his best man (George Forman).

Winnipeg might be your best bet and I think theres a couple of wreckers on the #1 on your way there.

I'll second what Scotty says about Winnipeg. I think they must have more wreckers and parts per capita than anywhere else that I've seen!
