Question Help with a Chevy tracker?

Hey guys, my dad put a remote start in his little Chevy tracker commuting beater and all was good for a few days. Last night when he shut it off, it blew a fuse on the remote starter and now the engine won't turn over. Anybody know anything about these or have some ideas?

I have checked the battery, tried jumping with the trusty cummins, still no go. Tried jumpering the start solenoid and got just a very soft humming and small spark, engine did not crank. Checked all fuses and found nothing blow except the new one installed for the remote start. Completely removed the remote system and bypassed the clutch switch. If anybody has worked on these or has some ideas I would greatly appreciate the help.

There is a website like this one for Trackers, but don't know what it is. I read on there that these vehicles really don't like remote starts and alarms.
