Hello guys and gals,
Finally joined the site to see what my dad is up to these days, some of you might know him as "papasmurf". Im a diesel head myself in the US Coast Guard and love my job. I turn the wrenches on detriot diesel 6v92ta's. Cant wait to buy my own Duramax maybe in a few years:D or a cummins. awesome site by the way.

thanks guys, yeah dennis, ive always been impressed with the cummins, especialy,.. umm john's truck i think it is.. the red truck.. dads too. Would go against my blood of GM thou. A little off, subject there is a guy on the s-10 forum who put a cummins in a 4x4 s10.. got almost done then pretty much left the forum, which sucks, nobody knows why.

when is this Claremont meet?

We don't have a date set yet, probably in the middle of June sometime. By the way if you need lessons on grilling brat's, I showed your father the right way to do this, the special hat is the secret;)

Welcome!!! I too am pretty new. Turned wrenches on Cats and Cummins gensets in the Marines after x-ferring from avionics (took a promotion). Miss the "glory days". I don't know if Coasties really count ;) [laugh] Just teasing!!!:D
