HAFC Technology - scam?
HAFC Technology - scam?
I searched, but could not find anything in any forums. Has anyone seen this before? http://www.hafctechnology.com/
I was skeptical, until I read , "One of our specialists did a 1998 Air stream motor home and it went from 6.8 miles per gallon to 22 mpg!" use MPG. That's when my BC meter went off the scale! How can you get 22mpg out of a brick?! Weight and aerodynamic inefficiency

didn't they try something similar on mythbusters?
using the battery to seperate hydrogen and oxygen from water then feeding them into the engine for combustion.
funny thing about these gadgets. the power to charge the battery comes from the engine. the power to run the engine comes from the fuel. the power in the fuel comes from the hydrogen. the power to break the water bonds comes from the battery. None of these are 100% efficient.
You might see some benefits if you plug in at night and allow the system to run at a higher voltage and higher current and not driving much each day. at this point, you would have a hydrogen car.

Anything with magnets needs to be avoided like the plauge.
Quote "The system also uses six powerful magnets that ionize the gasoline to produce smaller molecules and help separate the compounds "
Stick a magnet to the fuel line and the gas molecules magicly decrease in size? If that we're true, we'd have wives running around with magnets on thier

There will be a shortage of magnets now
Thanks fellas! Pretty much confirming my thoughts!
We were at a home & garden show in phoenix last year. There was a co. showing a magnet that 'improved' gas and diesel mpg, and they were apouting off about a local company using them. I left the booth & called my bro, who happened to work there. Nope! They were a bunch of liars!

Why do people have to deceive? What ever happened to earning an honest buck?

A saving of more than 100% would mean that the vehicle consumes less than 0 fuel per mile. So it will give back some fuel. If we get the right mix of those wonder-vehicles and normal cars on the road the HAFC users will sell fuel to the drivers of normal cars, no more oil imports and world peace will be the result...
I'd like to get some of the stuff they are smoking

If you really want to get better fuel mileage, just put a DTR sticker on your truck. I have several on mine and I have to pull over every hundred miles or so and drain fuel out of the tank so it won't over fill itself
Oh and they are good for a 25 HP gain each as well.

Need to get me some of those stickers... Seems like almost all of the neat gadgets and gizmos on the market ionize the fuel/food/water/blood/air so it must work or they couldnt say it on TV
Hi Lary!
I found that the DTR stickers are not compatible with Euro diesel. Either they need to be installed tilted to achieve the right latitude offset (You should mark the intended position for the Euros then) or include a printed warning to reduce the liability. I think I'm gonna sue you for misrepresentation, lost time and income- (Sticker application time, talk to other guys about the sticker time, research on DTR about decreased or unchanged fuel mileage in connection with stickers time etc... I'll call Ed Fagan about this next week)
