It sucks to see them gone. It is tough to look for them at breakfast or dinner. Keith

When your highly trained killer attack lap puppy looks up at you with those trusting eyes...aw man that's tough.Wait a time with patience....and the pain will ease.

Thanks everybody, I catch myself looking for him from time to time, especially when I came home today.

He either had cancer or some other kind of a stomach or intestinal problem. He couldn't keep any food down and was losing weight like crazy, I had to do something before he got too much weaker. He was too big to try to carry outside to use the bathroom.

I don't know what to say but sorry. I've had my Lab for nearly 7 years. I would be a wreck if I had to put her to sleep. She's my best friend.

Sorry to hear of your loss. They truely become a part of the family. My lab is 12 1/2 now and I'm watching him get weaker each month, it is such a short time that they spend with us but show more love than most people do in a life time.

Been down your road and it's a rough time right now. We still can't bring ourselves to get another one, yet. You've got prayers from here.

Yeah I've been there too. Lost my 2 Akitas to intestinal problems that lead to paralysis, and I lost my best friend of 15yrs, a Beagle. Now I have 2 Pit Bulls and they are my kids, I have a closer connection with these dogs than any others i've had. maybe its because of the circumstances that make Pits look like killers, but my Pits have been the most loyal and loving dogs I've had yet. It will be sad to see them go...
