They brew it next door in Wisconsin. They offer a nice selection. Their Creamy Dark is very good, they have some tasty seasonals aswell. I don't know if it reaches down in AZ, but if you can't find any and want to try some. Let me know.

Had a case of Guinness last week, was great as always. Im working on a case of Grain Belt NordEast as I type.

You know, you'd think beer and most things are crappy, but when I went to bush gardens last year, they paired a couple of beers with cheese, chocolate, cake and bread... all were very tasty together.

I'll try any beer! Don't sweat it, tho. Nice of you to offer.

I like dark beer but Guinness isn't one of them. Unless it's a Black and Tan.

mad,

Agree with you there regarding the Dos Equis! I don't always drink beer, but when I do, I prefer not to drink Dos Equis. I think this beer's best quality is the marketing and the commercials about the "most interesting man in the world'. It's not a great beer, but leaps and bounds ahead of the more popular Corona. If you're gonna go Mexican themed, Indio, Victoria, Bohemia and Negra Modelo are solid choices.

I love a good dark beer but when I plan on starting in the morning and drinking all day I'll stick with my gin and tonic. Then I don't get that mid day craving to have a jug of water since I'm drinking water with every drink. The guinness float does sound good though.

Likewise. Even then I won't usually have one until around mid day.

Not quite a Hershey bar, but I am having chocolate and a beer at the moment. A Sam Adams Boston Lager and a Ghirardelli Intense Dark chocolate. Tastes pretty good to me!

I like the Leinine Creamy Dark but if you can find it get some Leinie Big Eddy Russian Imperial Stout. The released it recently in very limited quantities in the midwest. It's only in 4 packs and it very pricey but it's good. I think the packing said it's a 9.5% abv beer.

I love the Leinenkugel beer! Good dark beer and they make some good oktoberfest beer too!

Love Guinness, but it's too expensive here anymore. I still get some once in a while. I also enjoy Murphy's Irish Stout, Black and Tans, and once in a while Dragon's Milk. Can't forget Lowenbrau Dark or Spaten Optimator, both are good!

In the morning newcastle hits the spot for me. Only on weekends normally, any day that ends with "Y" when camping. Sam's is great, and local for me, but pricey.

I'm also not opposed to PBR or Narragansett. Come to think of it, don't say no to much except that Dos Equis crap, gross.

Ah, I figured I'd try it once. They have a good commercial.

I'm jealous....

I like PBR ok... but I can't get a buzz off that stuff to save my life. The PX had a sale on it one weekend, I bought two cases for 20 bucks... I drank that stuff fast, I was peeing like it was funny... all smoke and no fire.

Overall I think Leinies makes the best Oktoberfest by far over any other I have had (sampled ALOT) and its brewed by 67 people who care...(inside knowledge)....
