Ground Zero

Skipping out on families (need a break, long story, families support our being gone) this year and taking wife to NYC for x-mas tomorrow, spur of the moment plan, we were there 3 years ago, anything at ground zero changed or added lately. Just planning on doing the tourist thing and take in the Christmas atmosphere of the City for a few days.

I have not been there in several years. My wife and oldest daughter went last year, they did the Christmas tour and raved about how it was. She also said that Macy's had beautiful Christmas decorations as well as an entire floor dedicated to the holiday. I don't know what has changed at ground zero, last time I was there I was working. I believe you can still go down to the tens house and view pics as well as buy some t-shirts.

Have fun and unwind, don't buy any Rolex's from sidewalk venders.

Safe traveling,

Tim

And don't ask directions from street people... they may know where everything is, but they're also convinced that everything's within "walking distance". Hint: everything's within walking distance when you've got no car and nothing to put time pressure on you.
