Grandma is a drug mule

And here you have an industrious Mexican national, just simply on her way to visiting her friends and relatives across the international border in Arizona , all the while passing through the port of entry at Nogales , Arizona probably daily.

After all, she's only 94 years old, so what harm could this Mexican do. Well I'll be dipped. What's all that padded stuff affixed to her body, underneath her dress. Well, after the dress was removed, loooookeeee here at what we have. Why it's only 10.45 pounds of marijuana strapped to her body. Can we blame her, after all, she's probably just supplementing her social security check she gets monthly at her P.O. box on the American side. And one can't help but wonder how many of these such trips has she already made across the border, toting 10 3/4 pounds of marijuana daily. Hang it up lady, as it's time for you to retire permanently in Mexico .

For Shame. You have jumped to conclusions without the facts. She probably needs the marijuana for medical use only and found the easiest way to carry it was to strap it to her body.

Yeah, at her age it would be difficult to tote a suitcase filled with medicinal pot.
She just wanted a better center of gravity for her meds.

In reality she probably figured...what have I got to lose. Or, maybe she started doing this when she was a kid!

With the profits the Gov. takes off of booze and tobacco, there should be enough in the kitty to get her prosecuted real good.
Hopefully she gets to go to jail, and get off of the dog food diet she has been on for who knows how long.

Let see, 10.4 pounds/day,
3832 pounds/year
111142 pounds in the 29 years since she retired (assuming she worked till 65)
Say, $75 / ounce
$133,371,000.00
She had made someone a few dollars...

Your not an engineer or a math teacher are you? Seems like most people don't sit and figure things like that out, I was just running the same numbers

YEP - - - and now we get to feed her and provide a nice air conditioned room with facilities, food everyday, doctor and dental, TV, exercise room - - somehow this just is not right. We need to let Sheriff Joe take care of them - - they will not want to come back.

a few.
I haven't bought weed in about 20 years, but a google search, weed seems to go for between $50 and $100 ounce.
I assumed she only made one trip per day. She may have been making a few trips per day. come over to visit friends in the morning, back in the evening to have dinner with the kids.
