Thumbs down got robbed!!!!

This post is more to vent and maybe save someone else the same headache.
I found some bullydog stage 4's on ebay and it was a smoking deal, $450 for the set. The guy's name is richie schmidt and his ebay handle is CUMNSHZE01.
Well when they arrived I knew just by looking at them that they were junk. So I brought them to HMP here in chicago and had them tested. well 1 was totally clogged and the others just shot a stream not a spray.
Well I reported this to ebay and paypal, and waited my 10 days. So today is day ten and I get an email from paypal that the guy never contacted them or ebay.
When I reported this to paypal the said that I had upto $1000 coverage for fraud. Whell They are giving me $175!!!! What the hell????

To all that search ebay and find a smokin deal BEWARE, It probably is a fraud!!!

Yea I know Its my own fault but still It is very dissapointing to be robbed by a fellow american...........

I don't think the country of origin has anything to do with being scammed on EBay.

He DID leave you a positive comment though.

thanks

I try to only buy stuff "New in original package" to avoid buying someone else's used junk.
And the stuff I've won, I usually wind up paying around 1/2 of the normal retail price.

I just won a set of Harley Hi-Perf heads MSR $1,000 for $585.

Buyer Beware when it comes to Ebay. I would keep going through the proper channels with Ebay, not that it will make you fell any better.

Not to be a jerk or anything, but the listing for those injectors was crap. He barely explained them, no pictures, not enough history or positive feeback for me to spend $450 bucks on him........

The bidding started at $110, then the last jump was from $250 to $450

I got hosed last year on a turbo, as did several other people. I just took my $175.00 from EBay and learned my lesson about paying any other way than with my credit card or Paypal......

Just complain to your credit card company and get all of your money back forget Ebay. I have been through this to and Ebay is not there to help. They just want your money I got every cent back through my credit card. Then Ebay sends me some whinny email that they would helped me. Ya right

Yep, I had 1 bad deal on evilbay, that's all it takes to find out what they are really like, them and paypal. I haven't bought a thing from them or even browsed the site since then. As Clayten mentioned credit card company's can help, mine was all over it, they love that kind of stuff.
I try to buy local anymore, shop around so I don't get hosed to bad, if it's local you can go down and drag him over the sales counter and choke the life out of him. Very satisfying!

Dumb *** me

It was a cheesy discription but thats how I have found some good deals. and yes I did know the reserve, I asked. I should have known better than getting a $1000 set of injectors for $450 With 500 miles on them. Live and learn I guess.
The real reson for posting was to post a warning for others not be a dumb *** like me.....
