Yes Ch its nice having a day off. Its called a mental stress day. Try putting up with 30 4th graders. Man talk about a headache. Sometimes I wonder why I dont have high blood pressure. When I get home each nite I go feed and work on the farm. That always puts a smile on my face.

Good morning to everyone. I will fax some Lasagna at lunch. Be careful its hot.
Duelin,
From Coos, which way ye goin to Big Sky Country? I know that I-84 to I-86 then I-15 remains open due to heavy cross country truck traffic. Driven all of these roads to MT as wife's family, the Smiths home town is Helena.

Phil
Normally I5 to Portland and 84 to Umatilla , then 82 up to Ritzville and I90 to the kids at the Bozeman Ranch , or to Billings where My relatives are.
I like to go over 12 lewiston & Lolo in the summer sometimes, but ....it is longer in time and distance , even tho it doesn't look like it on the map. Of course in the winter -if pulling a trailer ONE trip over Lolo pass is enough for a lifetime ! ! ! (Spent a night on top once in a blizzard once) The Ranch is on the Bozeman pass , pretty much just something to pay taxes on now. Helena was close to my last place, in Manhattan --we could fly over the hill from the Bozeman airport in about 45 min .

Was waitin' on you to reply to CH's post Hired Gun. Thought I was gonna have to take up for you. ;D There are those teachers out there that the main reason they are in the profession is for the 3 months vacation, and their day ends when school is out in the afternoon. And then there are those that try to do the job right. My wife is a 4th grade teacher also, and I witness first hand the many hours that go into being a good teacher. For what they put up with in preparing our future generations, they deserve any break that they can get.

Sorry, not trying to start a flame war on teachers, and CH I know you were just giving Hired Gun a hard time.

Anyway, everyone have good one.

CR

Duelin, Know what you mean about Lolo Pass. Like to go thru there also. Stop at FS Campgrounds, wife loves them, with GA Passport, nothin cheaper except Wally World parking lot. Havn't been thru Lolo Pass with the 5er and the new CTD yet, maybe next summer. Sometimes goin up I-15 when the weather is bad we cutoff at Dillon to Whitehall, avoid the high passes of I-15.

When you've lived in snow country you know how to be prepared.

Phil

G'Day from DC.
Drivin' Wifey's 'Cruiser again this morning....still can't hear the dang thing running. :

Got to work and the plow-jockeys pushed a load of snow into my parking space.... >..just got finished shoveling it out.
They're gonna be wondering why their phone went dead in about 20 minutes. ???
Moral of the story.....don't P*** off the phone guy.
I might get it "repaired" by spring.

Happy Friday All.
