I don't usually pray but I'll say one for you guys tonight. Stay strong, I know how it is to loose family members and it takes a lot to make it sometimes.
Anyways, it usually happens close to home. My friends think I'm being paranoid when I put my helmet on to ride my bike up the street... I don't care what they think.
Remember all to wear your safety gear...

I almost lost my brother a year and a half ago from a horrific accident... I know how helpless and distraught my family and I were...

I wish that he did have a helmet on, but he did not. He was taking a quick ride through our open field then going home. We lost our Dad in 02' to cancer & Mom in 04'. My brother was 13 when my Dad died & he couldn't deal with the loss being that young. I would tell him how important it was to wear the helmet, but he wouldn't listen to me. Since losing my parents he became rebellious. He hasn't been the same since the loss & I tried to guide him through these difficult times, but it seemed as though he didn't care anymore. He was a great guy & being that young going through a horrible tragedy is so much harder. He was a great person with a kind heart who always put others before himself. The most kind hearted guy that I've ever known, but he was hiding behind the pain & wouldn't open up to us. He held his feelings in.
I lost a very close friend in 2002 and I dont know if I will ever get over it.
like it was said above, he is in heaven with your parents and they will take care of him.

All of us here on the DTR Staff wish to extend our condolences to you and your family. We all have experienced the loss of a loved one, but it is especially hard when a life so young leaves this earth. Stay strong in knowing that your brother is with his parents and life must go on. The memories of the good times should never fade and hopefully help with the healing.

I'm very sorry for your loss, nothing I can say is gonna help you to feel better, but at least know, I wish you peace and comfort in this most troublesome time.
