My most sincere apologies to my Chevrolet and Ford brethern. I meant no insult. I was only trying to convey the similarity between three vehicles that share a similar lack of function as a TRUCK. Sheeeeze, you guys are sooooo touchy!!!!!

How much did that set you back and where can I get it? I am looking to do something real nasty to my truck, since I am the only one in my area that has one. I want it to be remembered.

Hello All;
Just fueled up at 9874 miles. The vehicle since new has averaged 20.7 MPG as indicated by documenting every gallon used since new (4.2 miles at delivery). This has been with mixed driving conditions and speeds. Worst mileage was all in town driving during a four day period of rain (~17 MPG), best was on road trip (flat ground, interstate highway at 76 MPH as indicated by GPS for the total trip ~22 MPG). For a vehicle of this mass, somewhat greater than 4500 lbs. I would think this is outstanding fuel economy.

One of the best all around motor vehicles I have owned (75 or so during my automobile using lifetime)

A freind that drives a s-10 and I got into it one day abought them worthless thingys. He kept calling them trucks and I kept telling him real trucks at least have a frame. He said just cause i drive a huge 3/4 ton 4x4 diesel dont mean that everything smaller isent a truck. I agreed and said that because it dont have a frame makes it NOT a truck. That and the fact that it is front wheel drive till it spins. 2 BIG things that trucks are not, Unibody and front wheel drive. Oh and IRS is a 3rd thing that kiks them out of the truck catagory. The only good those things do is for the suberban yupie to haule leaves away in once a year. That and make the driver get lauged at a lot buy people who know what a real truck is.
