I haven't really been into my truck myself, not since I'm always looking for ways not to have to use it so I can save on fuel. It's like the death of my truck hobby, I don't want to throw a bunch of money into something that I don't use much anymore because of fuel prices. I keep the truck, but no more mods.. I even went to my buddies transmission shop the other day , and his business has really slowed down(worst in 17yrs.), guess some folks park their cars when the tranny blows out, and bum a ride with someone else.

Yep, I am in the same boat as you. I have a 2007 that I bought last august and don't even have 4000 miles on it. It's not even ready for the first oil change yet. Sad that a few oil companies can have such an affect on the entire economy. Don't get me started in politics. I don't want to break my own rules, so I'll just leave it at that.

I still visit the site as much as ever. Regardless of fuel cost, economy and vacations. This is my visual and mental crack site.

The 1st step is admitting you have a problem. I get up in the morning, go to work, pay my bills, then trick my truck. What else is there?

Amen to that. The weather channel will show a green blob coming over the area and all we get, maybe, are sprinkles. That's it..... 1/2in. of rain over the last 2 months. Starting to get the crunchy grass syndrome just like last year.

Were having the same problem here. Seems like every storm just passes us by. We got 2 tenths last weekend and about 3" 4th of july weekend and that is all we have had this month. We are more than 30" down for the year. I hate to say it but the NC, SC, GA area needs a hurricane to replenish the water supply. As for the truck it only gets driven about once a month or when I need the truck. Since my wife is out of work for the summer we have been switching off driving the Charger so that It is the ony car we put gass in every week. On the days she needs the Charger I drive the Buick. I think that I will only have to put $20 more in it before her next paycheck. I think I am done modding the truck for a while it has enough to pull the 5ver up the hills now and I am tired of breaking things. We have a few mods in mind for the Charger and I have been spending alot of time over at ChargerForums.com. I have a few things to do to the house this winter. We have been saving money and paying off bills inseted of modding the cars. Its going to get worse before it gets better.

Last year me with Leukemia and out of pocket for weeks on end and then the fuel issue its been a year last February since I changed oil in mine! Just turned 2500 miles on the Amsoil 15w40 in it and it still looks like I just poured it in.I feel like I ought to change it but my gut says its fine and leave it alone until it racks up a few more miles.I keep meaning to drive it but I keep jumping in the 1500 or the Gran Marquis we have.Been using the 06 Gran Marquis more then anything. It gets 20 plus driving around here and 25mpg at 70 or so on the interstate. No ones ever asked about my 03 3500 but it only has 28k and change on it. Wonder what its worth real world?

I would be willing to bet some of the traffic has, as they bought a new truck, spent more time at some of the other CTD sites that exercise a bit more free speech. Not trying to start an argument, but i myself do most of my reading at cumminsforum nowadays since i can read and post about emissions equipment with much more free reign there. being as that is the single largest issue surrounding the new CTD pickups, i would be willing to bet many other 6.7L owners don't spend nearly as much time on here as they did when they had a 5.9L. Just an observation from a small minority.

Hate to admit this, but I have to think that some folks have simply had to sell thier trucks and are going through withdrawal & having a hard time admitting that's what happened. I'm debating this myself, but not quite there yet. In a holding pattern - less than 2k miles since December!
