I'm just kidding. I don't know any of the details behind the story. Just wanted to make you feel bad.

Seriously though, the way they had the red tape around the "accident" would seem to indicate that perhaps it was a fatal. Hopefully that's not the case though.

What I'd REALLY like to know is what happened to that plane.

I can tell you this....if they had invested in a Hoss brand concrete cab protector then that big ole' dump truck would be laying on it's side whimpering like a baby.

Hey Hoss,,,,,,,,,,,

If memory serves me right,,,, there was nobody in the truck when it got crushed and the plane was on the ground when it was side-swiped by a larger prop plane,,,,, no injuries.

HOSS, is it just me, or are you becoming more senile as time passes?

Look at that CAT flex, That front wheel has got to be 2 feet higher than the backs. Looks funny. And that plane, too bad pipers are great planes. They are lucky no one was hurt something like that could kill someone no problem.

MythBusters just had this plane story on two days ago and re-created teh story of the runaway plane.
They set up the "run-away " plane and recreated the damage almost exactly.
Pretty cool...............those guys got the best jobs!
