Well I went last night with my bro who has a 00 honda civic and my dad with his Z28. Anyway I didn't plan on running but I thought its only $2 more and I was curious to see what it would do stock. So I lined up and went 5 times. My best time was 18.50 in 1/4 mile at 72 mph. I was pretty pleased, but now I have to figure out how I am going to afford mods. I am going again next week but it was a lot of fun. I ended up winning a trophy in the truck class! I was a semi-finalist, I would have been a finalist if I had dialed what I wanted to a 18.60 but my friend told me to do a 18.70 and back off if I was ahead and I just couldn't back off so he ended up winning! It was a lot of fun ;D

Oh and if anyone cares, my best reaction time was .627

 

Nice reaction and 1/4 times. Wait till you get it BOMB'd you wont be able to stay away from the track.

 

hahaha I know. That was my first time, so I was pretty proud of the R/T. Also I am working on getting a chip or a comp but leaving the pump wire unhooked for now. What is a new Edege Comp worth and a used EZ? Thanks

 

i went last friday night with mine it was a blast 20 bucks and run as many times as u can! we got 7 in before it rained us out! i could only muster 17.03 out of her!! all i have is 275 injectors. lol my best reaction time was a 817 im slow ;D my buddie ran a 16.6 but he has a dtt trans 3gsk fuel plate. its a blast!!!!

 

A new Edge COMP would be around $650 or so.

 

It only cost me $10 and I ran as much as I could before everyone else wanted to leave and I got in 5 runs. I am going to go next week again. I hope I can get a chip or a comp before then. <br><br>If I get the chip or the comp and it doesnt slip my tranny or anything at first will it eventually decrease the life of my trany or will it be fine? Just an EZ shouldn't hurt it. Just don't powerbrake it to long at the light. As soon as the light next to me goes red and I know it's my turn (at a stoplight) I count 1 2 3, hold brake, rev engine to 1500 and smash the go pedal right as it turns green. If I stage to long, I bog the engine. No matter how much boost I build. It comes off real sluggish. Doing it this way, I can get the tires to chirp.
