Finger picking

Thought some of you who enjoy finger picking guitar might like this. I started following this kid when he was about 8. He's 14 now and beginning to make something of himself.

Nice to see someone of the young generation that knows what music is. Definetley has talent!

Reminds me of a friend I have with a 6 string banjo. Not very popular up here in the north, but dam he can pluck em. Not much better than sitting on the porch having a few cold ones letting the banjo sing! Neighbors (and my wife) hate it!

That's the problem today. 20 or more years ago, you'd have all your neighbors around your porch listening to the music. Now they just complain about it. It's one reason I left Mass and moved to Michigan. Some things are a little more valued out here, like they were back in New England, years ago.

Aw man, that's cause you lived on the WRONG end of the state. My log cabin is upon a hill overlooking all my distant neighbors. I really enjoy sitting on my front porch in the summer drinking a few beers and picking my nose since I don't know how to play guitar. I do however get my dogs howling then listen to all the dogs down the street calling back, really makes one of my neighbors happy.
