Ferry acident in Long island.

A ferry boat in Long Island slammed into a pier today, killing 10 people, and wounding several others. Our prayers go out to the familys.

News also reports the Ferry Captain went home and committed suicide. :-

EDIT: News now reporting he attempted suicide.

rode the ferry a lot as a kid in the late 50s with my Grandma, I think it cost 5 cents back then, heard of the stories of the Capt attempting suicide, also there were high winds on the Bay,

I will reserve judgement till more comes out
