Exclamation Fellow member and family in need!

I just learned of this. Fellow member Ken Gardner just lost his home to a fire a couple days ago. Ken (akghound) is a very jovial and talented fellow, who's taken time out of his busy schedule on several occasions to guide me in my quest to live off-grid. He and his family are in our prayers.

Rather than send him a bunch of stuff that he may or may not need I put a call in to him and we'll find out what will be the most beneficial and send out a care package asap!

I just talked to Ken and he's sorry he was unable to post here lately

I just laughed and said "You have been kind of busy!!!"

He said he'll post tomorrow with things that he needs and we can go from there!

Thumbs up Greetings

Sorry that I haven't been around for a while. I have had two major changes in my life, Last spring I lost a job I had for 15 years and now the house burned down. I started a delivery/ hotshot business last summer and have been very busy trying to keep it going. Needless to say this forum fell on the "Back Burner". It is my wish to be able to contrubute to the forums more often as soon as the dust (ashes) settle.
For a view of what went on last weekend take a look here http://www.helenair.com/extras/movie...d&name=Rebuild
There is an artical here www.helenair.com & http://www.frybrid.com/gardner.htm
I'll have to get back with more info later, still have some shopping to do.
Merry Christmas and God Bless All of You.
Ken Gardner

Thumbs up Many Thanks ....

I'm sorry for being so late in responding to this forum, I have been quite busy to say the least.

Well the dust and ashes have sort of settled around our place. We are moved in to our new house. We are warm and dry. There are so many folks that I truly need to thank that I can't get to individually. There is no way to find the words big enough to express the gratitude we feel as a family for all that has been done for us. It is people like that make this Country what it REALLY is. Please take a couple minutes and check out the video clip and photos presented at; http://www.helenair.com/extras/movie...d&name=Rebuild

I have lost all my machanic and welding tools and many have asked what to donate. We have receive so much already that I hate to ask for anything more, however if you have any old junk tools that need a new home I have a place for them. End wrenches and sockets would be very helpful right now.

God Bless and Be Well …. Ken Gardner and Family
