Edit PDF Repair Manual?

Does anyone know if and how you can edit a PDF file? The manual comes with the gas engine and auto (mine is a G56) and others I have no need for. I would like to delete what I don’t need. I have the Adobe Reader 7.

The only way I can think about at the moment is to install Cute PDF writer, open the repair manual and let Adobe reader print the pages you need to Cute PDF writer. (you might need to print the chapters separately and title them accordingly)

PS- This method will lead to a non copy protected version of the manual, so you need to check whether this is allowed and IIRC you must not distribute your version in total or in parts

Spend a couple hundred on Adobe Professional and you can do almost anything you want to a PDF...

The Adobe Reader won't do anything but read...

Adobe is proprietary software and they want you to buy the package. It's tough to modify PDFs without doing so, IMO.

Looks like I have to spend a few hundred $ for a software package. I was hoping there was some way to do it.

If you just want to take pages out of an existing PDF file to make a smaller pdf file there are a number of shareware or freeware programs that can do that (instead of the Acrobat Pro). I have a link for one (at work) that I could give you Monday but if you just do a search you should be able to find something on the net.

EDIT: I found it -
