Question Anyone know of a FREE DVD ripper?

I have an IPOD and about 200 dvd's I want to convert to my IPOD. I went to the "Apple" store, and one of the guys said to use "handbrake" and a dvd ripper. Well, I have "handbrake" now, but I can't find a free dvd ripper. Any ideas?

Thanks

It's been a while since I've ripped any DVDs to my IPOD and handbrake is on my other PC so I don't have it in front of me, but I believe Handbrake will rip from the DVD directly.

I looked on my other PC & you're right. It does require a ripper.
I use DVDDecrypter

Try this one....I use FAB Platinum and love it. You can run it for free for 30 days.

Thumbs up

Cool. Thanks for the help guys. I'll try one of the "rippers" and stick with it if it works. As soon as I get home, I'll try it. It's much cheaper to copy my DVD's (which I paid good money for; probably too much), then to buy the movies for $10 from Itunes.

I'll post my results soon.

Thanks again!

Yes...DVD Fab Decrypter (Might be called DVD Fab HD Decrypter) to rip the DVD to hard drive.

Then use Handbrake to make the .mp4/.m4v file. Have to mess with the settings to get the quality/size ratio you are comfortable with.

I tried, but still no luck. I'm not good with computers, so I assume it's "opperator error".
