This is a brand new day. It will have it's share of problems just like any other. Some will be left over from past days. Take the problems as they come, one at a time. Nothing philosophic about it really. It's more a matter of banging my head against a wall before I slowed down and actually paid attention to what goes on, thus making me realize that a certain process might not work despite having done it a thousand times with the same negative result!

I read somewhere once that the definition of insanity was the performance of the same action time and time again, and yet expecting different results.

I know what you meant though, I learned to take a step back and rationalize, as soon as my temper lets me, it gets a little short from time to time. I normally try to remain as stoic as possible, but like you said, this was family.
