Afternoon all.
Sorry to hear Blake.
Well, my dad got let go today. Been in the automotive business for 45 some odd years. Been with our company for 6 as a manager. They told him they had to trim some fat basically. I feel bad for the guy. I know it's the same old story but the hard workers get screwed. He's got a few interviews lined up, he'll be just fine. So my parents are gonna take off for a week and go up north; get out of the heat and clear their heads.
Additionally, one of my managers, another great guy...got let go last night. Our owner has his sights out for some killin.
This is why I go to school, the automotive business sucks.

Afternoon all!
Old Dog- A big congratulations to you sir! She's a beauty!
Blake- Sorry about your dog. Sounds like you're cooling off a bit and that's good. Keep a level head.
Josh- Sorry about your Dad.
And now...........................
LAUNDRY TIPS!
#1- DO NOT use Mamas washing machine to launder seat covers that have been sitting in a junk yard for an unknown time exposed to the elements and covered in mud and moss. Even if you do vacuum them off really well before you do so.
#2- If you ignore #1, be extra sure that you clean out said washing machine exceptionally well after use. Esspecially if you was whites.
#3- If you go further and ignore #1 & 2, Duct tape will work infinatley better than a lint roller for removing the leftover debris from Mama's Whites.
Mama just got off work, Kids get out of school in a couple hours and we're off to the inlaws for a weeks vacation. The FIL has lots planned. Should be an excellant timew as always.
I'll swing in for a cup when I get time.

Nightshift here.
Congrats Claude!
Sorry for your loss Blake. They'd have to take my guns away from me if somebody hurt Kailey. Similar laws up here. You can only shoot them if they are in the act of an attack. I actually work with an ex- k9 deputy that had shot a problematic, stray on his property. Lost his job for it (see, not above the law like many think).
Bark, have a safe trip.
Josh, prayers from here too bud.

not according to your profile...
btw, Daughter has a 99 pontiac grand am that stalls randomly when at a stop. No codes were found.
New spark plugs, New air filter, tapped and pecked on every sensor on the engine, nothing.
I suspect it may be the fuel filter.

I poked everything on that engine that wasn't hot or moving and it never hiccuped. I drove it to AZ and had it checked for codes.
On the way back, come to a stop sign and just about the time the car come to a complete stop, it died, no warning, just all the lights come on then the tach dropped to zero. it stalled before the tach ever moved.

Does it seem hot at all? Might have a radiator shop check for a headgasket leak that might be starting to develope? Check the fuel pressure? How many miles on it?
I'm going for the fuel filter.
Josh, man, that's tough news.
Blake, we're here for you, buddy. I can't imagine how mad I'd be. We had a dog stolen out of our yard once, I was livid.
Evenin, DTR. Not much to report. Angie is doing better. We cleaned the pool a little, getting ready for Chris to come down this weekend, he's helping me with ball joints.
Ok, off to bed. I hear a baby coughing, so it's probably going to be a long night.
Later.
