Not that good yet. King run was late but at least they showed up. I am waiting for the reds to start running (mid July).
Those first people to experiment with parachutes from balloons in the late 1700's had to be a little crazy.
That deserves at least a B+.
Hmmm. Suddenly hungry. No steak but do have some bacon. Think its going to be another breakfast for dinner sort of day.

Evening everyone.
Had another storm roll through this morning. I got the plants that are in pots in the garage just before the high winds and heavy rain came through. Two of the 15 tomato plants in the garden were damaged but they'll be fine to produce tomatos still. Did some cleaning around the house today and started refinishing a gun stock this afternoon. Took the mauser, that use to belong to my great uncle, apart today. Got the stock stripped, sanded, and stained today. Gonna apply the tru-oil coats and start rebluing the metal this week.
Got some sausage and kraut cooking up for dinner tonight.
Mark hope the knee gets better!

Well look who stuck his head out from behind a fence post to join in.
Just finished supper. We grilled one of the best steaks, Black Angus NY strip, medium of course. You could cut that thing with your fork. Sorry Mark, no leftovers for breakfast.

Evening Rick, that steak sounds good! The wife and I were going to go out for a steak dinner tonight but she was at a bridal shower this afternoon that was being held at an American Legion POST and didn't get back till later this evening.

Evenin' All!
Rained all day then cleared up in time for me to go to work. Dayshift here at work did a good job taking care of the place after a crazy night last night. Bout time they started pulling their own weight. It was a nice change for once.
Got a chuckle out of this......

Too bad it's true.....
