Did see a couple good sized deer inthe lawn the other morning just after the sun started coming up. I love living where I am, i have the town a few miles north of me and everywhere else around my neighborhood is woods, fields or lakes, so lots of local wildlife come walking through the yard.

I feel your guys' "relative" pains. My brother has been eating up all my weekends this summer. Hardly ever hear from the guy any other time. I'll admit though, the ballgame was fun. I'd do that day again.

I just started hearing them more since the other night.Tonight they are loud, sound like they are fairly close, their howling is getting Boomer all bothered. Everytime they howl, he growls.

Still have so many in-laws visiting. Bedrooms, hallways and bathrooms are all full of bodies. Gotta go back to the airport for another load. Talk with you people in a few. You might read about an incident in Kenai where an ex vet and leo assassinated 20 in-laws while they slept. It could be me but don’t worry. It will be justified. No jury would convict me.
I had family and/or friends/inlaws coming and going for 5 weeks earlier this summer. Hard to get anything done. Remember as an ex-leo you can get a private cell sould things go south for you.

For certain things... You can deer hunt with witha a rifle in pistol and cowboy cailbers. And I'm sure varmint hunting with a rifle is legal. The State is looking to legalize deer hunting with other rifle calibers in the future. For now most people do bow, shotgun, or muzzleloader.
